Week 1 (CS30S)

Computer Science 30S – Week 1:

Welcome students to week 1, please read the schedule page to understand this week’s page format, and contact Mr. Wachs if you have any issues

Your workload for this week is broken down below:

  • Week’s Overall Summary: this week is an introduction to the course, you should complete reading the course outline, then complete reading/watching the course introductory content, and then complete a course survey. After this, spend the rest of the week starting Unit 1 (Introduction To Java) by starting reading/watching the introduction to Java content (and then working on the example), then starting reading/watching basic inputs / outputs content (and then working on the example), and finally starting reading/watching variables content (and then working on the example)
  • Week’s Learning Experiences:
    1. To complete your look at the course outline
    2. To complete your look at the introduction to Computer Science content
(or read presentation or watch this video)
    3. To complete your look at how to get started content
